In January 2024 the first working day of the 'PROMISE' programme took place. It was a space for meeting and exchange between the members and where the tasks and responsibilities of each one of them were put on the table. .

The partners travelled to Lisbon to continue working together on the project and to present the Pilot program. They also received training in gender perspective and an Expert Meeting was held. International expert speakers on the situation of women in basketball encouraged interesting debates in an intense day open to the public.

One of the most powerful activities of the Pilot Program is the Mentoring of referees and coaches which lasts 6 months and is being developed in all the communities of the Consortium. The aim is to be able to train and accompany the participants thanks to the figure of the mentors. It also aims to empower them in the face of the adversities and inequalities of their daily lives and to encourage them to leave their comfort zones.
